Friday Internet Crushes: Gingher Designer Series Scissors

Friday Internet Crushes: Gingher Designer Series Scissors | Red-Handled Scissors

I am absolutely in love with my new set of Gingher Designer Series Scissors.

Now, before you say anything, yes, the flowers are pink. And, while it’s true that I could spend hours and hours ranting about how much I hate pink sewing tools, I like these scissors anyway. I mean, how could I not? Not only are they gorgeous, they’ll probably last long enough for me to pass them down to at least a couple more generations of stitchers! (Have I mentioned that I’m a big fan of paying a little more for something that’ll last forever?)

As with most amazing things, the Gingher Designer Series Scissors in the Emily floral pattern have limited availability. If you want to snap up a set for yourself, here’s where I got mine:

Are you scissors-obsessed too? I want to hear about your favorite pair!

I just bought two pair Gingher scissors for my daughter’s birthday. I wish I had found these pink floral scissors instead of the plainer ones.
But she loves them any ways.

I own gingher dressmaker shears (gold handled anniversary edition.. ooh la la, lol), gingher pinking shears, gingher applique scissors, and a gingher seam ripper. I cannot say enough about gingher’s quality when it comes to scissors! If you want a pair of scissors to outlast you, and whomever you pass them on to, then buy ginghers. Frequently, you can find them on sale, or use a coupon to purchase them to lower their price point a bit. Even at full price, they are well worth the investment! Nothing is worse than a pair of scissors that do not cut well and cause hand fatigue!
